I picked up this title from the conversation surrounding this great post about synergy by Troy Worman. He defines the concept of synergy, identifies some actions organizations and leaders can take to create an environment for synergy, and explores several intangibles that contribute to synergy.
This is the stuff of synergy: engagement, enthusiasm, and energy. All must be personally engaged in the process. All must express enthusiasm for others input. All must ensure a continuous flow of energy to sustain the iterative cycling of thoughts. Engagement and enthusiasm and energy beget spontaneity, a spark, the spontaneous combustion of synergy.
Troy is really on to something; there are three E’s in Synergy!
